Beating Limitations
I was diagnosed with Charcot Marie Tooth type 1A in 2004, and Ehlers Danlos Hypermobility in 2007. At the start of each year I try to choose a word or phrase as a guiding thought for the year to come.
This year I chose “Slow Down” and “Make Time”
The last two years have been crazy. I’ve felt crowded out looking after others (I had a really big team at work and spent a lot of time and effort to be the best manager coach that I could). But perhaps at the expense of myself and those who I love.
This year, my change of job at the end of 2021 feels like a chance to re-prioritise. To Slow Down and Make Time for what is important to me. To be a better me.
