s a condition. Nyakuar’s father is against their union, He could do anything to make Gatpan stay away from his daughter, but the guy keeps insisting to make nyakuar his wife by all means. Nyakuar’s father made a schedule. A reasonable plan that should end the guy’s tries and make everyone convince about it. He called Gatpan and tell him about the plan, an old told Gatpan that; we’re going to play a game if you win the game I promise I will give you nyakuar without costing you to pay any dowries and if you lose, you won’t see nyakuar for the rest of your life. Gatpan was listening carefully in spite its seem quite confusing but he couldn’t lost his confident and agreed. An old man called all elders and leaders plus the rest of the relatives to come and watch how things will go with him and Gatpan. Nyakuar knew his father’s plan, she’s so worried how she could find a way to tell Gatpan about her father’s plan was to ruined their marriage, it’s almost afternoon and the meeting will be started in the evening 4:30 pm. Nyakuar waited, her wish was to see Gatpan and acknowledge him about her father’s plan. As the time is running everyone comes together, she went and stand out of the gate, she looks around and started running immediately but on her way to Gatpan’s house, there she found him and tell him: “my father wrote on two folded papers” No” she said and she added am just coming to let you know that my father’s main aims was to ruined our marriage, time is too late I can’t help my love but you have find a solution for this am going back. She said and ended her speech. Gatpan replied to her “goa elong thile riek” that means no problem. The girl left. Gatpan followed Nyakuar, he later entered and thought of agreement that supposed to be two folded papers one should be written ‘NO’ and the other one ‘YES’, if he picked NO their marriage is forbidden and if he picked YES then he will own Nyakuar for free as her father promised. But how can that be possible? He questioned himself, he knew that both folded papers on the floor are written NO. He can pick one and show it off to prove an old man right if he does. But Gatpan has a plan to solve this favoriting his intention. He pick one from the two folded papers on the plate and put it on his mouth, chewed it up, everyone was sighting with surprise, waaaah how could you do that. But Gatpan remains confident and replied to them; I know that Nyakuar is mine! I think we have two folded papers YES and NO isn’t!? In the name of our love, am sure I picked the right paper which is written YES! If am wrong check the other one, leaders checked other paper and got it right, he’s saying fact! Somebody said. Nyakuar’s father surprised, How did Gatpan find out his plan? He is left puzzling of his mystified but confess of Gatpan’s wisdom and felt guilty of his fabrication! Nothing he could do, he promised to give Nyakuar to him with out paying any single dowry. Nyakuar’s father was amazed by Gatpan’s wisdom and says
“Wisdom is better than Gold”! A wise can solve anything
