Here are the top 10 main risks of poorly controlled blood pressure:

1- 💔 Myocardial infarction: if the coronary artery is blocked, it prevents the heart from functioning, leading to myocardial infarction (or heart attack). Without quick medical intervention, the patient risks death or serious consequences.

3/3 In our series on hydration, after exploring its benefits and the risks of dehydration, here are our tips for maintaining optimal hydration levels !

In France, 62% of children aged 9-11 are dehydrated.

10 Practical tips for balanced hydration:

1- 🕒 Drink regularly : Don't wait until you're thirsty to drink. Thirst occurs once dehydration has set in, so it's important to anticipate. Hydration should be consistent throughout the day.

2- 💧 Recommended amount : Health professionals generally recommend 1.5 to 2 liters of water per day for an adult. This can vary depending on physical activity and climatic conditions.

4- 🍏 Hydrating foods : Include water-rich fruits and vegetables in your diet, such as cucumbers, tomatoes, oranges, and melons.

5- 🏋️‍♀️ Hydration and exercise : Increase your water intake if you exercise or if it's hot.

6- 🚫 Reduce diuretic drinks : Limit the consumption of caffeine and alcohol as they increase dehydration.

7- 📱 The combination of glucose and sodium in water optimizes the transport of water molecules through the body.
