Ian Curtis would have celebrated his 70th birthday today, 15 July 2026.
This photograph taken by Mark Reeder is part of the ‘Ian Curtis: Insight’ exhibition currently on show in New York Voltz Clarke Gallery until July 22. Ian’s notebooks, letters and ephemera are also on view.

Prémonition - Contre Jour : un nouveau single Il y a un quelque chose de Ghost Dance dans ce nouveau morceau de Contre Jour, "This New World", avec ce post-punk sobre et cisélé, plus anglais qu'américain, cette voix à la fois en retenue mais assurée, et cette basse qui épaule l'ensemble en donnant le tempo. On avait adoré il y a tout jus...
