I used to think photography was about capturing something special.
Over time, I realized it’s more about learning how to stay with what’s ordinary.
To stop walking past moments just because they don’t demand attention.
Photography slows me down in ways I didn’t expect.
It asks me to wait, to observe without needing to understand everything right away.
Some images make sense instantly.
Others reveal themselves much later, when I return to them and remember how I felt standing there.
Not every photograph is meant to impress.
Some exist simply as proof of presence — that I was paying attention, even when nothing dramatic was happening.
And maybe that’s enough.
Maybe that quiet act of noticing is the reason I keep coming back to the camera.
