GLAMR GUIDE
There’s a psychological reason many of us feel drawn to changing our appearance during transitions.
When identity shifts, the brain looks for safe ways to regain orientation and regulate emotion. Small aesthetic changes help the nervous system integrate change without doing anything permanent.
Eyebrows, in particular, shape how our emotions are read by others and by ourselves. They subtly influence softness, strength, and approachability.
For me, I completely reshape my eyebrows. This change feels grounding because they’re high-impact but low-risk (I can always draw them differently with makeup if I want to)
Reshaping the brows lets me adapt how I show up without erasing who I am. A subtle recalibration rather than a drastic reset.
This isn’t about control.
It’s about adaptation, agency, and alignment.
Not all change is chaotic. Some of it is intelligent 🤍
