The real reason I’m in Sicily.

My daughter Amira came and asked me if she could come here with her best friend.

I said “No. You’re a little too young, but, you can go if I come with you.

I’ll do my own thing in the day, it will literally be like you’re on your own, and you can just meet me for dinner (or not), but I’ll be there so I know you make it back safe each night”.

That was the deal.

It’s not that I don’t trust her - of course I do, it’s everyone else I don’t trust.

So now let’s talk about that freedom based beauty business I talk about a lot...

It’s not just about the financial freedom, the freedom to travel, and everything else.

It’s times like THIS.

Being a present parent in the years that I personally think are THE most important - AND still getting paid whilst away from the business.

Good morning from beautiful Sicily 🇮🇹 ☕️

I used to fly to Italy every year, on my own, or sometimes I would bring an educator of mine or a manager, and we would spend days in meetings with suppliers, and manufacturers as I was in my R&D stages of developing another beauty brand.

Now, I’m just here because… why not.
