AD Finally gave our spare room the attention it deserved after leaving it half finished for way too long 🙈

At one point it had basically turned into my version of Monica’s dumping ground, random storage, unfinished bits, clothes everywhere, so being in full nesting mode finally gave me the push to properly tackle it.

I wanted the room to feel warmer, softer and a lot cosier, so I headed into Cove & Co in Swords for a colour consultation
This is actually my third time using the service and I genuinely find it so helpful every time, especially when trying to tie different tones and fabrics together.

I brought fabric swatches from our bed with me to make sure everything worked together properly before choosing colours, and honestly this is such a good tip if you already have furniture or fabrics in the room because it really helps you see how different paint shades will bring out the tones already in the space.

I decided to fully colour drench the room and I honestly love how it turned out. The whole space feels so much calmer and warmer now. I still have a few finishing touches to add, like curtains and wardrobe handles, but I’m already so happy with the transformation. What do you think? 🤍
