Maybe it's ok to take a step back and appreciate how far we've come. No ones judging you on your sleepless nights or your endless drive to succeed. If you're enjoying your life and the people surrounding you then maybe that's all we need.

When you die no one will care about the house you had or the cars you drove.

No one will remember you for your designer clothing or how many bottles you popped.

It's not about the likes on your photos it's about the love around you.

No one will know how much money was in your bank account.

All they'll remember was your smile and your heart.

What we will all remember is how you treated others. How you influenced the world and the people around you. How you gave back to your family or friends or to the people you didn't know with no expectation to receive anything back.

A gentle reminder that your journey is all you need. Your journey is your life. Make it enjoyable for yourself and those you appreciate.

How others perceive us is not always how we expect to be perceived.

Sometimes confidence can be perceived as cocky.

The possibility of love could be construed for weakness.

Maybe spontaneity & adventure confused for irresponsibility or lack of focus.

Too much envy could easily become jealousy.

But why?

There's enough room for us all to run our own race.

You can only control you, but realizing there's another point of view and not letting that get in your way can hold a lot of value. How you present yourself to others is important in your representation of yourself.

Understanding your own needs and taking the best path for yourself could come off selfish, but in the end we may be all we have.
