Una instalación interactiva construida a partir de 37 mangas de prendas usadas, 6 guantes negros y una manta, todos elementos con historia, cosidos a mano sobre una estructura metálica.
Hug Station explora el acto de abrazar como un lenguaje emocional. Cada pieza de la serie representa una emoción distinta, invitando al espectador a experimentar de forma física y simbólica estados como la ansiedad, la vulnerabilidad, la ternura o la angustia.
Creada en un contexto marcado por el aislamiento y la desconexión, la obra reflexiona sobre la necesidad humana de contacto y pertenencia. Más que una instalación, es un espacio para reconectar con nuestras emociones y recordar el poder transformador de un abrazo

Series: Hug Station #13

An interactive installation made from 37 sleeves taken from worn garments, 6 black gloves, and a blanket, all hand-sewn onto a metal structure. Each element carries its own history and traces of human experience.

Hug Station explores the act of hugging as an emotional language. Each work in the series embodies a specific feeling, inviting viewers to physically and emotionally engage with states such as anxiety, vulnerability, tenderness, and distress.

Created in a time shaped by isolation and disconnection, the piece reflects on our fundamental need for human contact and belonging. More than an artwork, it becomes a space to reconnect with emotions and a reminder of the healing power of a simple embrace.
