What does empowerment of the Holy Spirit mean?

It is God imparting divine strength, guidance, and the capability to perform miracles, signs, and wonders to the believers of Christ.

REASONS FOR EMPOWERMENT
1. For Divine Strength (Acts 1;8, Ephesians 3:16-19)
2. For Guidance (Direction)
To enable us (believers) To overcome our sinful habits and walk in Godliness or holy living. (2 Thessalonians 3:3, Galatians 5:16
1. To do miracles or signs and Wonders for God’s Service (Acts 1:8)
To be a witness for God in this hostile world, we need all these abilities (supernatural powers). (John 4:48, Zechariah 4:6)
