Absolutely heartbreaking to hear the news. Dave is loved by so many people, and anyone that knew him, knew he was such an incredible soul. He is the reasons so many bands have a career, and the reason so many got a start in this industry. He was always so kind and welcoming, and no matter who you were, gave you the same attention. He was there since day one of my touring career, and had already been a legend amongst my favorite bands. Forever brought a smile to my face, at any wild random place he’d end up crossing paths. Always showed me a world of kindness. Hard to even begin to process it. My heart goes out to his loved ones, and the countless friends who he had the same impact on. There was no one like him. Truly heartbreaking loss. Shapiro forever ❤️

5 years now, still missing you everyday. Wish I could just call you up and see how you’re doing. Wish you got to see your team win the Super Bowl. Wish I could take you to a Phils game this spring. Wish I could tell you about all the places I’ve been, and all the bands I’ve gotten to see, cause I know that was your dream too. So many things I never got to ask you, and things I never got to learn from you. Life is unfair at times. Jesse reminds me of you more and more. I love and miss you so much ❤️
