We have added Z AI's GLM 5.2 model to the free tier on Seer. If you are currently working on your CAD designs, generating electronic blueprints, or analyzing patents, you can now select this model as an option without needing a paid subscription.

Today, we're making Seer available directly inside Claude through the Model Context Protocol (MCP).

This means you can now use Seer's engineering capabilities without leaving your conversation.

Currently, the MCP exposes three tools:

CAD – Generate and iterate on CAD models from natural language, and get the STL directly.

Electronics – Design electronic circuits, select components, and assist with hardware development.

Patent Search – Search prior art and identify potentially relevant patents while you're designing.

The goal is simple: let AI assistants do more than generate text. They should be able to help build real products.

Whether you're creating a new mechanical design, developing electronics, or validating an idea against existing patents, Claude can now use Seer as part of the workflow.

This is just the beginning. We're working on bringing more of Seer's capabilities into MCP so AI can become a complete engineering partner.
