Design is only half the story, the rest happens here in the workshop. We spend a lot of time obsessing over textures and curves with our craftsmen to make sure every piece feels special.
The Jozour chair is one of our favorites. It’s our way of telling the story of the Egyptian landscape through the ancient art of marquetry.
Getting those colored wood veneers to sit perfectly on a curved surface was a challenge, but seeing the ‘baby’ version come to life for a client’s dressing table made it all worth it.

At the 7th Edition of the International Women Summit, I had the pleasure of joining the stage to discuss Art, Culture, and Creative Identity.
We dived deep into how we, as creatives, can reimagine the “New Era” of Egyptian identity through the environments we create. Being surrounded by so many trailblazing women in the arts has left me feeling incredibly inspired to keep pushing the boundaries of design
I’ve always believed that you can feel the energy of a piece when it’s been made by hand. We spend a lot of time digging into our heritage and trying to find new ways to bring that soul into modern homes. This is our story, told by the best craftsmen I know. Proud to be Egyptian, always.
