2. Avoid Midday Heat
• Walk pets early morning or late evening.
• Hot pavement can burn paw pads — test it with your hand.

3. Never Leave Pets in Cars
• Even with windows cracked, temperatures can soar in minutes.
• It’s life-threatening — never risk it.

4. Provide Shade & Cool Areas
• Offer shaded outdoor spots or let them stay inside with a fan or AC.
• Cooling mats or damp towels help lower body temp.
