We were waiting for the time when it would be safe to be back with our morning events. We planned to host CreativeMornings Tallinn sometime during this spring. But our world has dramatically changed in the last two weeks.

Now it's time to help and support.

Our colleague from CreativeMornings/Kyiv asked communities of creative professionals around the world to help with the job search for Ukrainians!

If you or your company have the ability to support and create jobs for Ukrainians, please, do. Remote format is in high priority, but opportunities in Poland, Slovakia, Romania, Bulgaria, Czech Republic and other European countries and cities also required!

Meet this month's illustrator Xaviera Altena – a Rotterdam-born illustrator currently living and working in the city.

She has a strong passion to address social issues, and illustrates them using bold lines and a variety of bright colours.

This month, we shine a light on all the leaders who are also women, from across the vast spectrum of identities and experiences of womanhood. The decision-makers, the life-givers, the caregivers, the frontline workers, the problem-solvers, the world-changers. The organizers and activists, the artists and writers and innovators. The teachers, scientists, medical professionals, politicians, business owners. The ones with megaphones and the ones working behind-the-scenes. Without you, where would our world be?

CreativeMornings Rotterdam chose June’s Matriarchy theme, and Xaviera Altena created the accompanying illustration.
