SquareOne is a Copenhagen-based architecture studio which turns no nonsense strategies into captivating environments. If we were actors, we would be underplaying, much like Robert Redford. If we were musicians, we'd repeat and repeat- like Ravel. Or play old music like Jan Johansson does. Still, we'd dare a sudden electric guitar, Ennio Moriconne style. We are looking for such strokes of genius in our architecture - how to creatively cheat in a rule-based game.

We are developing a senior citizens’ home at the Athens riviera, as part of the social infrastructure within the Ellinikon master plan. Our goal is to create a building that fights loneliness by helping people meet, be active and enjoy nature together.
We have designed a green facade with shading panels which create an ever changing appearance to the building depending on the viewing angle, without compromising its constructability and modularity.
