Old Norse word for young man or boy in a warrior sense.

'Drengr'

In the sagas in tells us that it was one of the best things to be called in our ancestors time. It is very similar to the Old English word Dreng. Also there has been 2 woman in the sagas to be Drengr aswell, so both our brothers and sisters can be called this.

Skǫrungr is another word that can be used this is only for our sisters and comes with the same sense of meaning but with a bit more talent attached to it.
