A beautiful wildlife encounter, but it also highlights a growing concern. We need to talk about the increasing commercial activities inside and around our national parks. When wildlife becomes dependent on food provided directly or indirectly by tourists, vendors, and unmanaged tourism, it slowly loses its natural behavior.
Just look at the marmots in Deosai National Park. Many now wait along roads and tourist spots expecting food instead of spending their time foraging naturally. What may seem like a harmless interaction can have serious consequences for wildlife health, behavior, and survival. Animals that rely on human food become vulnerable, lose their natural instincts, and can no longer live the wild life they were meant to live.
It is time for the government and wildlife authorities to take stronger action against harmful commercial activities and enforce better wildlife protection measures in our national parks. Conservation must come before convenience.
Just waiting for the software update 😃
