What an inspiring start to the week with Anne Cattaneo and Sheldon Epps!

Here's what they're focusing on out of this 'pause':

Would you briefly share something you have learned or discovered during this quarantine period that you plan to incorporate into your practice as an artist?

Sheldon Epps: It’s something I’ve believed for a long time, but it is amplified by this period of time. In the creation of art, the value of stillness. The value of being still and allowing yourself to receive what the universe has to give you.

Anne Cattaneo: I’m a dramaturg. Early in my career I worked a little for Joe Papp and we said ‘you can’t just do it – you have to tell everyone that you’re doing it or it doesn’t count’. I’m trying to enlist people right now in documenting dramaturgy – getting it on Wikipedia by January so people know about what dramaturgy is!

- what stood out to you from the conversation? What other thoughts are on your mind now after hearing what they had to say?

We‘re opening in one week! This weekend, we‘ll be welcoming families of the participants to become part of our journey as we continue to shape the piece. Looking forward!
