he real impact of an amputation to life, we only feel the impact for one or two hours, maybe some days. But most Pretenders have a good understanding for the daily recurrence problems of disabled people: physical limitations, missing wheelchair access, small stairs, no one in reach who could help at the moment e.g. And most Pretenders are devoted to amputees too and could give them missing things back like a relationship or pay them attention without pity.
