🔊 We have published a new study looking at the success rate of mammography assessments.

💡 Daniel Kvak and his team of Marek Biroš, Jakub Dandár, Anora Atakhanova and Robert Hruby compared AI results with five independent radiologists.

The evaluation included assessment of breast tissue density according to BI-RADS. The evaluated images came from different mammography machines (GE, Siemens, Hologic) to ensure that the system would behave the same at all sites.

❓What was the result?
When evaluating densities, our system performed better than 4 of the 5 radiologists compared. The aim of the study was to objectify the assessment of densities at different sites and also different devices.

Hodnocení zahrnovalo hodnocení denzity prsní tkáně dle BI-RADS. Hodnocené snímky pocházely z různých mamografických přístrojů (GE, Siemens, Hologic), aby bylo zaručeno, že systém se bude chovat stejně na všech pracovištích.

❓Jaký byl výsledek?
Při hodnocení denzity náš systém dosáhl lepších výsledů než 4 z 5 srovnávaných radiologů. Cílem studie byla objektivizace hodnocení denzity na různých pracovištích a také různých přístrojích.

💡One of the chiefs in the radiology department asked us an interesting question.
He wondered if our Carebot AI CXR system would always evaluate the same image in the same way.

🤖 The answer is YES.
Our Carebot AI CXR software uses pre-trained algorithms that have been validated during medical device certification.

❓What does this mean?
That the results of our algorithm always remain the same when the same image is sent.

✔ To confirm that the results of the AI evaluation remain constant, we also prepared a small test.
In this test, we applied our algorithm to a specific image of a patient, changed the output language, and re-ran our system. The result was always the same.

Software Carebot AI CXR využívá předem natrénované algoritmy, které byly ověřeny během certifikace zdravotnického prostředku.

❓Co to znamená?
Že výsledky našeho algoritmu zůstávají při zaslání stejného snímku vždy stejné.

✔ Abychom potvrdili, že výsledky hodnocení AI zůstávají neměnné, připravili jsme i malou zkoušku.
V tomto testu jsme použili náš algoritmus na konkrétní snímek pacienta, změnili jazyk výstupu a znovu provedli hodnocení naším systémem. Výsledek byl vždy stejný.
