Patch sleeves — yes or no?
This type of sleeve is composed of smaller tattoos rather than one large, continuous piece. There are no strict rules for designing these sleeves, because people usually don’t have a fixed plan and just go with the flow.
I’m planning to have my right arm covered in “sticker” tattoos, but I’m trying to keep them well organized and somewhat within one style. That’s almost impossible when you’re getting tattooed by different artists, so I’m also just going with the flow :)
I sometimes wish I could go back and reassure myself to commit to a full sleeve composition rather than getting these patches. At the same time, I love each tattoo I have, even though I’d like to improve some of them.
So, would you choose a patch sleeve or one big, cohesive project?
