What does an inclusive culture of remembrance look like in Europe today?
As part of the ReIMAGINE project, this research explores how remembrance culture is understood and practiced across Austria, Cyprus, Italy, Portugal, and Serbia — identifying shared patterns, important differences, and collective needs.
This Needs Assessment on Inclusive Remembrance Culture in Europe focuses on questions of inclusion, pluralism, and the role artistic approaches can play in shaping more open and participatory ways of remembering.
Rather than offering a definitive account, the research maps gaps, challenges, and possibilities across diverse and intersecting histories, experiences, and perspectives.

The slide deck is available in German, Greek, Turkish, Italian, Portuguese, and Serbian, alongside English as the common international project language on the project website and partner social media accounts.
