Good news to start this Wednesday on a positive note 😊☕️

I’m Honestly Fed Up With All The Bad News, So I Illustrated 50 Of The Best Ones From 2019 We are often bombarded with fear-mongering and shocking headlines that make us feel that the world is falling apart. However, while it’s important to report on problems and issues, I believe there is so much good in this world that it needs to be found and promoted just as widely.

We all know heroic, but tragic story of Laika – the first dog to orbit the space, but do you know the story about the first dogs that returned safely to Earth after traveling to space?

This two dogs have spent a day in space aboard Korabl-Sputnik 2 (Sputnik 5) on 19th August 1960 before safely returning to Earth. They were accompanied by a grey rabbit, 42 mice, two rats, flies and several plants and fungi. All passengers survived.

After their amazing space expedition, one of this dogs and her offspring continued to have quite exciting romantic life, worth a good movie we would say 😉
