Yesterday was crazy. I've wanted to visit this place since I was a kid. For those of you that don't know, my legal name is William Scott Fyvie. This is the Fyvie Castle in Fyvie, Scotland. The Castle was built in the 1200's.. And it was owned by William Gordon of Fyvie.. Aka my greatest great grandfather. The Castle is currently closed for the season, but when we told the groundskeeper my name, they let us inside for a free tour. I can't explain the feeling I had walking through the halls.. Knowing that this was the place my family originated from. Yesterday was definitely a day I'll never forget.. And I can finally check this one off my bucket list.
