Good morning from the 21CD studios!

Colombia is filled with interesting and varying sights. After living here for a couple months, I've come to understand just how corrupt and vast the wealth gap is in this country. With the poorer people basically being pushed into the shadows of cartel skyscrapers and the militarized police at almost every corner it's hard not to ask "what's going on?"

In the first image here, three of the dozens of soldiers that were on the streets that day can be seen standing guard outside the iconic Cartagena sign.

The second images is of a squad of local men enjoying a soccer game before going back to work in the local tourism industry.

The third photo is the soccer game from afar. You can see the white team has emerged victorious as the other team is shuttled away from the seaside soccer turf.
