If B-grade or second-life cells are mixed into the system, the impact may not be obvious in the short term. However, under long-term float charging, repeated cycling, and multi-string parallel operation, these deviations can accumulate and eventually affect overall pack reliability and service life.

At ANPL, we insist on using brand-new A+ grade cells only, with no B-grade or second-life batteries. This helps ensure pack consistency, reliability, and long-term performance from the source, laying a stronger foundation for system safety and longer service life.

In large-scale wind/solar power stations and grid-level energy storage projects, industry attention naturally gravitates toward the megawatt-class primary storage equipment — yet the true safety backstop of an entire facility often comes down to a few kilowatts of auxiliary backup power.

When the grid goes offline or the primary storage system trips due to a fault, the station control layer (SCADA), relay protection devices, and communication links must rely on an independent backup power source to stay operational. If that auxiliary backup fails, the entire plant enters an extremely dangerous state of being both "blind and silent" — cut off from visibility and control simultaneously.
