I doubt if you've ever taken time to think about this

Water has never taken the shape of a ball, neither in the physical nor the spiritual world. Even in dreams, such a thing is impossible.

Water is always level in rivers, oceans, and seas. This is why we always measure altitude relative to sea level. The horizon is always flat.

Navigation is only possible because the seas and oceans are flat. Whether in maritime or space navigation, no ship or has ever adjusted its flight or navigation plan due to curvature.

If the Earth were round, an airplane would not need to travel to get from point A to point B.

It would simply lift itself off point A and wait for point B to come since the Earth is spinning.
