Christmas Box was born out of a desire to see families that are struggling at Christmas time not miss out on the opportunity to enjoy and share this special time of year with family and friends. 🚢 The Early Bird Gets the Barge!
Surprise! An additional 145 Christmas Boxes snuck onto the early barge, bound for Penrhyn, Manihiki, and Rakahanga.
They're ahead of schedule, which is frankly a miracle.
This bonus haul is separate from the main event:

A Heartfelt Calling:
Five Years of Service to Our Community
By Tina Iro, Team Leader, Christmas Box Cook Islands.
When I was first asked to take on the management of Christmas Box Cook Islands, I felt a wave of profound humility and responsibility.
It was a task that felt far beyond my own abilities, yet I knew instantly it was a calling I could not ignore.
You might wonder why anyone would embrace the huge challenge of raising funds yearly and orchestrating the complex logistics of this mission.
The truth is, years ago, the Lord placed a simple, powerful conviction in my heart: to reach out to those in our Community who feel the strain of hardship most acutely.
During the busiest and most festive time of year, we are called to remember the families carrying the heaviest burdens.
Every moment spent on this project has been guided by the peace of knowing we are moving in the direction of healing and support for our people.
A Sacred Trust
This year marks my 5th year as Team Leader, and it has been an absolute honour to lead this movement of love.
Through the grace of God and the dedication of our island, we have formed unbreakable partnerships built on mutual trust:
Internal Affairs: Working closely with them ensures our boxes reach the families with the greatest need.
The Banks in our Nation, Prime Foods, and major Businesses: Their commitment provides the essential resources we require.
Our dedicated Charitable Trust members: They provide the foundation and guidance we need to grow.
I am humbled daily by the trust placed in me to orchestrate this life-changing cause. We are committed to delivering 1,000 boxes filled with groceries and heartfelt care right across the Cook Islands, bringing relief and a moment of joy to our most vulnerable families.
Shining Hope
Beyond the groceries, our mission is to deliver hope. We strategically place Bible scriptures and words of encouragement in each box. This is our simple, sincere way of shining a little light and reminding every recipient that Jesus loves them and is, indeed, the reason for the Season—Christmas ❤️
