BSV Association has joined the Global Battery Alliance.

And the timing couldn't be more important.

Why?

Because with Digital Product Passports (DPPs) deploying in a matter of months, the battery industry is at the forefront of one of the biggest shifts in supply chain transparency we've seen in decades.

The need for trusted, verifiable data across global supply chains has never been greater.

That's what makes the Global Battery Alliance's work so significant.

Bringing together more than 150 companies, governments and civil society organisations, the GBA is helping build sustainable, responsible and circular battery value chains through collaboration, shared standards and its Battery Passport initiative.

For us, it's a natural fit. Creating transparent, auditable and independently verifiable data across multiple organisations is a challenge we've been focused on for years.

Ásgeir Thór Óskarsson, commented:

"The transition to a more sustainable future depends on collaboration at a scale we've never seen before. But collaboration only works when there is trust.

We believe public blockchain infrastructure has an important role to play in creating that trust, helping organisations share verifiable data with confidence across global supply chains. We're delighted to contribute our perspective and expertise through the Global Battery Alliance.”

Battery Passports may be one of the first major DPP implementations, but they won't be the last.

The opportunities and challenges ahead are greater than any one industry.

Fairer, safer and more sustainable supply chains depend on industries working together, towards better – and we're excited to be part of that journey.

As the world prepares for the next series of high-stakes votes, that has never been more important.

Swipe to explore how Votari uses the BSV blockchain to make voting outcomes independently verifiable, strengthening confidence in digital governance.

This is more than a case study about the future of verifiable digital voting.

It’s a story about how blockchain technology can help build more transparent, accountable and trusted systems.

Together, towards better.

We’re entering a world where we can’t always trust what we see.

Data is surging.
AI is accelerating.

And most of our information sits in systems we don’t control.

So, what does trust actually look like?

In this video, MD Ásgeir Thór Óskarsson explains why blockchain isn’t just about finance.

It’s about creating a verifiable layer of truth.

► Who owns your data?
► Who controls it?
► And can you trust it?
