With SITA's strong business performance and rapid growth, our Barcelona team has expanded significantly over the past 18 months, leading to the opening of our new office. SITA today announced the appointments of Stefan Schaffner as Senior Vice President of SITA AT AIRPORTS and Sergiy Nevstruyev as Senior Vice President of SITA Global Services (SGS). The two bring a wealth of management experience in the travel, transport, and mobility technologies sectors to SITA, supporting two of the most vital pillars of our business: our airport offerings and our approach to the customer experience.

We are excited to announce our partnership with the Faculty of Transportation Sciences, CTU, in Prague. This renewed cooperation will focus on both the training of new professionals and project plans in the field of air transport. ✈️

A team of experts from SITA and Fakulta dopravní ČVUT v Praze will oversee the cooperation and develop a concrete project plan and joint activities, one of them being SITA DAY. This day will introduce SITA not only to Faculty of Transportation Sciences students but will be open to all interested students from CTU to explore and learn more.

As the global leader in air travel technology, we believe in nurturing the curiosity and potential of young minds. We recently had five high school students visit the SITA Dubai office, and it was an incredible week of learning, discovery, and inspiration.

During their visit, the students got the chance to witness first-hand how our solutions are revolutionizing the aviation industry, making air travel safer, more efficient, and more enjoyable. Our colleagues shared their knowledge and experiences and offered valuable insights into their careers in aviation technology and the history of SITA. Our goal was to provide these future innovators with a glimpse into the exciting world of aviation and the limitless possibilities it holds, and we look forward to seeing these students enroll in our graduate positions in the future.
