Founded in 2017 in Melbourne and now mostly migrated to Switzerland, Thongbirds are an experimental genre-mashing project, dabbling in reggae/bluesrock/world/folk. Our goal is to create emotive grooves, layered to lyrics of a positive and/or contemplative nature. Random fact of the day: all recordings to date are live recordings from rehearsals in thongs.
