With more time at home, you might make the experience of having new impulses. Suddenly, you discover how creative you can be with sewing. Or you are surprised how much fun you have in training your argumentation skills. Or you are so happy to do some Afro dance.

But then, there is a little voice that says “you have never done that before. You really want to start this at your age? It’s ridiculous. You are not like that”

Believe me: don’t listen to that liar.

If you feel aliveness and joy in doing something, DO IT. It’s part of your nature to do so and you have the right to.

The next time that voice speaks, say “Up until now, I did not (fill in the activity or way of doing), but from now on, I do it”. Independently from how the past was, you are free to do something new, or to act a new way.
