As ACSM and TRX© Certified Personal Trainers with bachelors degrees in exercise and health and in sports science we understand our clients´ needs and, more importantly, we know how to help them meet those needs. Functional strength training is based on the human anatomy and can be tailored to suit anyone, from housewife to businessman to competition athlete. We´re thus able to help clients turn th
eir weaknesses into strengths regardless of their starting point. TRIMET Performance is a platform that makes functional strength training enjoyable. We currently offer individual training sessions only, but plan to expand to include group and team training as well. Our vision is to offer individual training and group fitness courses that provide high functional gains in a comfortable “low tech” setting. We start by analysing clients´ (simple and complex) movement patterns. This approach is well established in the United States but is largely unknown here in Europe. We aim to fill this market gap with a platform geared to the needs of ordinary people struggling with lower back pain or restricted mobility as well as athletes. Functional training is based on movement patterns involving the entire body.
“Functional training” is a widely misunderstood term. It is not specific to any one sport. We can’t work, run, lift, push, squat or even sit with poor spinal control and flexibility. Sooner or later anyone with poor movement patterns will experience a loss of strength, mobility and quality of life. That’s why we analyse every client from top to bottom using tools like the Functional Movement Screen (FMS). The FMS is designed to help clients achieve optimal mobility. Because we want to correct problems, not just alleviate symptoms, our approach is always to proceed from the simple to the complex. Our offerings range from athletic and functional training to traditional strength training and programmes aimed at specific groups, such as TRX© suspension training and cross training.
