Artists, curators, gallery owners, museum directors, and all other cultural workers in Switzerland: If you profess outrage about the US in this moment, it is an imperative that you are active in the fight against racism and specifically against anti-Black racism. It is the work of white people (and non-Black PoC) to address these issues and put in the work of dismantling white supremacy everyday, even in closed-door meetings where being the only person to speak out can cost you your job or your reputation. In every instance where you are not doing this work, you are implicitly throwing a Black cultural worker under the bus by leaving this work up to us.
Slide 6-10 are reposted over from my personal account for context. @ Switzerland

As 1.1 is slowly coming to a close, we are taking a look back at some of our past programming. Pictured above are pictures from Real Madrid's first solo exhibition in Switzerland "Reality, Leave Me Alone", organised by Mohamed Almusibli in 2016.
Reality, leave me alone refers to a double layered experience, in which a tangible truth superimposes a narrative one. Transformation happens radically within the coats.

Like a letter from Hogwarts, the judgement of others is the desired key to the realm of adult life after the short hallway of puberty. While practicing to master the art of magic is hard to realize that a transformation is already there.

In pubertal time a door closed behind acts like a portal that leads to a moment of freedom where the public self sinks and the alias emerge. The exhibition space presents the safe room where the sorcerer’s apprentice sleeps and learns, trying to escape the space of the not-yet.
A house of sentimental changes induced by chemistry on one side, and alchemy on the other. Hormones potions, pop song acting as a magical formula.

A new text commission by the amazing Legion Seven is now online! Read Seven's poem "Anger's Benediction" in our story highlights or via the link in our bio now🌋
Legion Seven is an artist whose work is an erratic vehicle on a splendid path. Traversing worlds of expression with sharpened intuition; Seven’s projects emerge in bodies as diverse as the imagination, consistent only in their colourful departure from the literal cult rigidity into which Seven was born. The wreckage of this rigidity, and a bizarre usurping of its biblical language is among what can be found woven into the strange tapestries of story-telling we experience from Seven today.
