Today, we remember the extraordinary courage of all those who took part in the D-Day landings.
On 6 June 1944, thousands answered the call of duty, knowing the immense risks that lay ahead. Their sacrifice and determination helped turn the tide of history and paved the way for a more peaceful future.
The Basel Tattoo, proudly honours their legacy and pays tribute to all those who served, sacrificed, and gave so much for the freedoms we enjoy today.
Their courage will never be forgotten.
