When little Eysel began vomiting and losing strength, her mother Elvia feared the worst. After weeks of hospital visits and uncertainty, doctors in Lima discovered a brain tumor.

Two surgeries and thirty rounds of radiotherapy followed. Through it all, Elvia never left her daughter’s side — but far from home, she had nowhere to stay.

At Albergue Inspira, they found safety, meals, and emotional support during this long and difficult journey.
