DOROTHY (GHOST TOWN), ALBERTA
The hamlet of Dorothy grew to a population of 100 reidents in the 1920s but only a dozen people remain in the area now. The abandoned grain elevator still stands tall.

RAVEN LAKE, ONTARIO
The lake is in Halfway Provincial Park, about 25 kms from the town of Cartier in Ontario.

KING'S HIGHWAY 144, ONTARIO
The 271 km highway connects the city of Greater Sudbury to Timmins. It is one of the most isolated highways in the province of Ontario, passing mainly through forest for most of the way.

EMERALD LAKE, BRITISH COLUMBIA
Located in Yoho National Park, Emerald Lake is the biggest tourist attraction in the park. The lake remains frozen from November to June due to its high altitude.
