WINNIPEG: I’ll be performing October 16th in support of the South Africa Education Support Projects (SAESP).
The Rotary Club of Winnipeg initiative has funded all kinds of worthy community education programs in South Africa, from scholarships to housing for AIDS affected orphans, to vocational education like teaching people cabinetry and sewing skills.
The project’s most recent focus is the 1000 Survival Gardens Project featuring Hippo Roller technology to make transporting water easier, contributing to food security, community hygiene and resilience in the face of climate change.
The fundraiser event includes light snacks and a cash bar.
