You know spring is coming when it's shearing time for the sheep! Love that line up of all our handsome rams. 💗🐏

Not only do the sheep feel a few pounds lighter, it's also vaccines, dewormer and hoof trimming time! We also get a much closer look at our pregnant ewes and can see their udders starting to form! The count down for lambs in on!

Thank you to our wool skirting crew for cleaning and skirting the fleeces before they get rolled up! Jordan, Alex and Meagan you guys were a huge help. And thank you to Linda and Teah for looking after all the vaccines and deworming. And of course to our Shearer, Stacey, we couldn't do it without you! Thank you for always doing such a great job and looking after our fleeces!

I will be representing Manitoba Shetland Sheep at the first Pembina Fibreshed Mixer on Friday April 10. Riverview Community Centre, 90 Ashland Avenue, Winnipeg 7 - 9 pm.
