Hello and welcome to Sunflower Studio 🌻📸

💛 Whether you’re new here or have been following along for years, thank you for being here — it’s so nice to connect with you 🌻

It’s been 5 years since my last introduction, and a lot of life has happened since then! I thought it was time for a reintroduction ✨👇🏼

💛 I’m a convergence journalist by trade and graduated from journalism school in 2018, where I learned photojournalism and how to shoot fully manual
💛 I also hold an Honours degree in Communication, Media & Film with a minor in English
💛 Storytelling has always been at the heart of who I am and photography gives me the chance to preserve real moments and honest emotions
💛 Sunflower Studio was inspired by my love of light, storytelling, and the way sunflowers always turn toward the sun. A reminder to keep chasing the good moments in life
💛 My logo is a camera shutter designed to look like sunflower petals 🌻
💛 Since my last introduction life has changed in so many beautiful ways. Our family grew into the wonderfully chaotic adventure it is today, moved to a new town and I got married. 🤍
💛 I’m am outnumbered by 3 little ones who were once "3 under 3". Their closeness of age has earned them the coined title of Irish triplets. Motherhood has completely changed the way I see and document life
💛 I’ve learned to embrace the messy, meaningful, in-between moments that deserve to be remembered too
💛 We also recently rescued two fur babies who have completely stolen our hearts 🐈‍⬛🐾
💛 Outside of photography I’ve recently gotten into ultra running and have fallen in love with the challenge and mental strength it takes
💛 I still love traveling, books, films and all things storytelling
💛 I’m still a huge Lord of the Rings & Hobbit fan — anything Tolkien-inspired has my heart
💛 I’ve advanced from asking a million questions during movies to confidently making predictions that almost always end up being right 😅
💛 And I’m always up for a hike, a coffee and a good conversation ☕
