As budgets tighten and demands for service increase, RRS steps in and allows rope rescue teams to continue to improve their service to the public. RRS will provide training to your department’s rope rescue team, through the experience, training, and NFPA certification of Randall Chamberlain. Randall is a currently serving Firefighter with real and applied experience and a certified High Angle Rescue Instructor with over 25 years of high angle teaching experience. Randall has a Bachelor of Recreation and Leisure Studies with focused studies on risk management and experiential education. He has experience in dozens of emergency rope rescue situations in a variety of unique locations, including those lacking in anchor options, at altitude, and helicopter short haul. The qualities that RRS possess through owner/operator, Randall Chamberlain, will allow RRS to deliver to your team a unique perspective needed in today’s rescue requirements. RRS has two pricing structures, the first is a non-certification consultation and the second is a 40 hour certification courses. The Non-certification Consultation service will include equipment and technique observation, record keeping reviews and written corrective suggestions at a charge of $500 per standard 8 hour working day or any part thereof. Full 40 hour certification courses will be offered for $6000, and will include, but not be limited to, needed certification of all high angle team members (subject to meeting department standards), equipment overview, suggestions and practice on alternative techniques, suggestions on equipment upgrades to meet needs, etc. (All prices are subject to considerations and negotiation)
