More recently, Teneil has turned her attention to fertility and adoption law, having herself adopted a child, and having also expanded her family by way of assisted reproduction. Throughout her career, Teneil has acted as trial counsel before the Ontario Superior Court of Justice, and has otherwise appeared before numerous administrative tribunals including the Workplace Safety and Insurance Appeals Tribunal, the Social Security Tribunal of Canada, the Criminal Injuries Compensation Board, and the Small Claims Court. Teneil also has experience with the Unified Family Court of Ontario, and is notably a trained mediator.
