Mikuni carb repair, purchased a used set of snowmobile carbs off marketplace for a Yamaha Vmax. I opened the bowl and found one of the float standoffs snapped off. With some very careful drilling, Jb marine weld and a small pin I managed to save it.

It’s finally completed! The 1986 CR250 has been fully restored to its former glory. Some last minute detailing and it’s off to KW Honda for display in their showroom.

Just finished a tuning session on the 86 CR250. Here's the plug I don't think I can get that any better. Still surges a bit at idle but with the Keihin PJ with no idle screw on the carb slide that's pretty hard to get rid of.
