Quartz Tea Room

I have a really sad update today. With no warning, just complete and utter shock, Sipology has closed it's doors. I even had a little event booked to promo Sipology last night, and I found this out 15 minutes before the event....

To all my loyal customers, I am just as shocked as you are at the news of Sipology closing its doors. This summer would have been my 12th year with them.

I truly loved the company, and the products. This loss is a huge one. This image on the 3rd slide is is the official email I received last night.

I am in utter disbelief, and have no words to truly express how I am feeling right now. Yesterday I was promoting my business, and then all of a sudden it is gone. Here is what I have to tell you all going forward:

🍵 I still love tea! I will make some great recommendations for you on other amazing loose leaf tea companies that I already know (and buy from). No commissions for me, just me wanting to help support you as my local customers on finding new options to fill the void.

🍵 I’ll have some kind of clearance sale for all my stock items. Everything will be cheap because it needs to go so I can make room for whatever is going to come next for me. I don’t know what comes next for me yet. I am still processing the shock from this sudden closure.

🍵 I’ll still be at farmers markets this summer with Pottery by Joni! So you can still catch me selling pottery and a few of my handmade tea inspired items.

🍵 I’ll be starting up a Quartz Tea Room Newsletter, so if you want to keep up to date on what is next for me you can sign up for that!

There is a lot of hurt and grief over this. Any outstanding commissions I will not be paid, and that hurts. It is also a big loss in my life to lose something I have been so passionate about. Customers looking for updates, please be patient with me. It is a lot to process.

One of my favourite things is spending time in my garden. Did you know I grow everything in pots on my balcony? It's amazing what you can grow in small spaces! Do you have a garden?
