A lifelong home learner, Jori is currently working on high school courses towards his diploma! Pocket Rags have always been the best project, we have learned so much and met the most amazing people over the years! As his courses wind up for the year we found time to make new Bulk-3’s in new colors: Terra Cotta, Fig, & Blackberry Cherry!

Jori just finished prepping the organic cotton for the Pocket Rag triangles and wow did the tie dye ever turn out so beautifully!

I thought I’d take a sec to describe the process behind these simple, not fancy, but kinda more complex than a rag, Rags! So, the organic cotton is preshrunk, then portioned into strips. Then Jori ties up the strips to get ready for tie dying! Then we use onion skins donated to us from cafe so it’s a zero waste moment💚 thank you! Then we take the meticulously tied up fabrics and they sit in a natural dye pot for many days, then are washed (in a plant based natural soap) and ironed out. Then they are portioned into triangles! And eventually stamped with the logo!!

Introducing, the “Heavy Duty” hanky! This is a limited edition series of heavier weight hankies in case anyone was looking for a sturdier version of the classic Pocket Rag. It is a heavier weight GOTS certified organic flannel which is really soft on one side and has a strong twill weave on the other.
