In this our 23rd year, the Foundation has again made great strides, with assets and the number of CRF funds growing to all-time highs, and an excellent start to 2026 already in the books.

Over $2 million in grants have been disbursed to clubs for their operating costs, to national teams, notably our Sr. Women's 2025 RWC finalists, and for the Foundation's initiatives, including the McTavish Cup/ Canadian University Men's Rugby Championship, and the Men's and the Women's High-performance Rugby Initiatives. Included were grants for awards, bursaries and scholarships to rugby student-athletes, but also coaches and officials which exceeded $100,000 for the first time.

And despite the global turmoil stirred up south of the border, especially in the first half of the year, our Investment Managers Leith Wheeler, helped deliver over $2.4 million in investment revenues.

Meanwhile, even with how the economy has affected Canadians' disposable income, our donors have contributed over $3 million to grow and develop rugby in Canada. We are grateful to all of our donors, and especially those who made major donations in 2025, or have achieved remarkable milestones in their lifetime giving.

We hope the balance of 2026 enables the Foundation to continue on its current trajectory, and that you have good health and fortune in the coming year.
