Keziah’s Story 💜

Keziah was just two weeks old when she underwent her first open-heart surgery, and over the years she faced multiple surgeries before being listed for a life-saving heart transplant. Thanks to the incredible care of her medical team and the support of her family, Keziah received her transplant in September 2022, giving her a second chance at life.

During this challenging time, the David Foster Foundation provided vital support to Lyndonna and her family—covering accommodation, food, travel, and parking—so she could focus entirely on Keziah’s care. This support lifted the financial burden and allowed the family to be present for every step of her recovery.

Today, Keziah is thriving and growing, continuing her journey with the daily care and medications that transplant recipients require.Stories like hers are only possible because of generous organ donors and organizations like the DFF that help families navigate the emotional and financial challenges of serious medical care.
