When real estate market is hot and almost every purchase is a multiple offer situation, buyers would typically go with clean non-conditional offers to stay competitive. Very often though the houses are renovated with not enough consideration made for heating, cooling, ventilation, and other home comfort equipment. Sellers mainly focus on house’s appearance leaving home comfort equipment out of picture “as long as looks working”.

It results in many houses coming on the market with very old and often malfunctioning furnaces and ACs.
